Teresa Williamson
The Metroport Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize Teresa Williamson, Chief Financial Officer for Grapevine Relief And Community Exchange (GRACE), as our August 2024 Ambassador of the Month! Teresa has been an invaluable part of the GRACE team since 2016, overseeing essential accounting, financial, and human resource functions for this remarkable organization. Her dedication to GRACE and its mission reflects her passion for supporting communities through nonprofit service.
Teresa's career in nonprofit finance spans over 25 years, beginning in Iowa, where she served as the Director of Finance for the Center for Alcohol and Drug Services for more than a decade. After relocating to Texas, she continued her commitment to the nonprofit sector as the Director of Finance at Child Care Associates in Fort Worth, a role she held for nearly eight years. Teresa’s extensive experience includes managing diverse funding streams—federal, state, and local grants, contributions, special events, and resale—demonstrating her adaptability and depth of expertise.
A proud resident of Trophy Club since 2009, Teresa has enjoyed watching our community grow and thrive. During her children’s high school years, she supported their interests by serving as Treasurer for the Swim and Dive Booster Club, a role she dedicated herself to for six years. Her commitment to community service has made a positive impact locally and beyond.
As a 2018 graduate of the Metroport Chamber Leadership program, Teresa exemplifies the values of leadership and service that the Chamber strives to foster. We’re honored to recognize Teresa Williamson as a distinguished leader and a valued Ambassador for the Chamber.
Congratulations, Teresa, and thank you for your continued dedication to making a difference in our community!
