We are thrilled to share the exciting news of the grand opening of Neffie, Northwest ISD Education Foundation, Inc.'s brand-new mobile resource store and library, designed exclusively for educators in the Northwest Independent School District (NISD). This incredible initiative hit the streets in September, marking a significant milestone in supporting our teachers and, in turn, our students.
Neffie is a game-changer for NISD educators, providing essential classroom supplies and resources right at their doorstep. This mobile store allows teachers to "shop" for free, saving them both time and money—two precious resources for any educator. By making classroom necessities more accessible, Neffie is helping alleviate the financial burden that many teachers face when purchasing materials for their students.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony brought together members of the community, including local leaders, business owners, and the Northwest ISD Board of Trustees, to celebrate this innovative solution for supporting education. A special thank you goes out to the NEF founding donors, whose generosity made this initiative possible, as well as all the attendees who helped make the day so memorable.
