Congratulations to Lancine Bentley with the Town of Northlake. She is our Ambassador of the Month for July!
About Lancine
Lancine Bentley graduated from the University of North Texas with a master’s degree in public administration and works as the Economic Development Coordinator for the Town of Northlake.
She serves as liaison to local businesses, developers, property managers, and the Economic Development and Community Development Corporations.
Her primary goals are to support the success of local businesses and recruit business and industry to the Town. Existing businesses are assisted through ongoing marketing efforts—distribution of Retail Guides, billboard advertising, social media promotion, and introduction to training and networking opportunities by hosting them at the Metroport Chamber’s Women in Business and Membership Luncheons.
Prospective businesses are assisted by connecting them with available sale and lease space, referring them to resources such as the SBDC, Workforce Solutions and the Metroport Chamber, providing them with relevant research and information, and assisting them in crafting applications for consideration for grant funding.
Lancine is currently serving a 3-year term as a director on the North Central Texas Council of Governments Economic Development Board and serves on the Texas Economic Development Council’s Workforce Development, Legislative, and Education Committees.
She is an avid gardener tending to a native and adapted home landscape, raising three rescue dogs, and serving as an ambassador with the Texas Humane Legislative Network, a statewide animal rights and advocacy non-profit.
The Ambassadors are an enthusiastic group of Chamber Members. These go-getters are the first to meet and greet new Members and businesses by serving as volunteers at Chamber events, attending ribbon cuttings and always extending a handshake and a smile. If you are interested in joining the Ambassadors, please contact us.
