Congratulations to Ben Scheck, one of the Chamber's Ambassadors of the Month for May 2024!
Ben Scheck has been the pastor of The Grove Church since January 2021, during which time he has witnessed and contributed to its growth and flourishing. Under his leadership, with the support and encouragement of his wife, Aletha, The Grove Church has become a source of hope and love in the community, dedicated to serving others with the compassion and grace of Jesus Christ. Meeting for worship every Sunday at 9:00 am at Marty B's restaurant in Bartonville, the church provides a welcoming and dynamic environment for all who attend.
Ben is passionate about teaching and sharing God's Word in ways that are both relatable and impactful. He has a unique talent for making biblical teachings come alive, often incorporating a touch of "magic" to captivate and engage his audience. Whether through a heartfelt sermon or an interactive demonstration, Ben's approach to ministry is rooted in a genuine desire to inspire and uplift others, guiding them on their spiritual journey with authenticity and joy.
The Grove Church is a multigenerational congregation with a strong emphasis on community and connection. Its vibrant Life Groups cater to people of all ages, fostering fellowship and spiritual growth. With a mission to meet people where they are and help them come alive in Christ, The Grove Church is deeply committed to serving the local community and beyond. In addition to his pastoral duties, Ben Scheck is an active member of the Metroport Chamber of Commerce, where he has served as an ambassador for the past three years. He truly enjoys making connections with fellow members and local businesses, always striving to serve their needs in the best way possible while being a light for Christ.
